GAC AION Co. Ltd. (“GAC AION”) was established on July 28, 2017, and is the core of GAC Group in developing intelligent networked alternative energy vehicles. Since its establishment, GAC AION has been adhering to the principle of “EV (100% electric) + ICV (intelligent networking)”, innovating and building China’s first pure electric vehicle plant, building the international leading brand AION, and launching five world-class products. After five years of development, GAC AION has developed into a world-class alternative energy vehicle enterprise with two factories, an annual production capacity of 400,000 units, and an average growth rate of over 120%, with production and sales ranking among the top three in the industry.
In the future, GAC AION will focus on the principle of “EV + ICV” as the roadmap for technological development, comprehensively enhance brand value in five key areas: R&D, industrial chain, intelligent production and quality control, marketing services and corporate culture, and strive to provide world-class alternative energy intelligent mobility products and services, and become an industry leader and value creator through the development of green intelligent automotive technologies and trusted by society.
The industrial park has a planned area of five square kilometers with a total investment of 45 billion Yuan. Led by GAC AION, the industrial park attracts excellent enterprises from upstream to downstream, including processing chips, the three cores of electric vehicles (drive system, battery, and control system), operating systems, intelligent driving systems, etc., to build an open and creative ecosystem of the whole industry chain that integrates intelligent lifestyles in one place, and form a value park consisting of “intelligent, open, innovative, green, sharing and ecosystem.”
